These provide a way to embed executable code in a file of any extension. This would be very useful for email trojans, and in fact has been used in one of the latest trojans.

Using the info on this site I made my own led flashlight bulb replacements. I built a headlamp with an ultra bright red led, excellent for astronomy, and basic outdoor work at night. The batteries last a longer too.
