Catastrophic Mortality at the Monarch Overwintering Sites in Mexico
This news item reports that tens of millions of Monarch butterflies have perished due to freezing conditions at the Monarch overwintering sites in Mexico. Mortality is estimated to be over 75% at the two main sites.
