Signal Hill Parking Lot, May 15/2004
This fox looks like a Silver Fox, which comprises 8% of the fox population of Nfld. It was very bold, coming right up me - safely in my car. I took these photos at around 6:30-7:00am. Another bystander said the fox was there most mornings.

Virginia River Outflow, Quidi Vidi Lake, St. John's, Newfoundland - February 10, 2005
This spot is usually full of ducks and gulls swimming around, but they were all standing on shore.
I found out why when I saw this huge Northern River Otter feasting on a large trout.
